Eclipse workshop

IBM Italy has the pleasure to invite all Politecnico di Torino students to attend the Eclipse Technical Briefing in Sala Consiglio di Facoltà on 29th November 2004. The briefing is conducted in English by Doug Tidwell, IBM Senior Software Engineer, with the following agenda:

"This one-day workshop will present an overview of the technology and architecture of Eclipse, a popular open source integration platform for doing Java development and hosting application development tools. The major components of Eclipse and useful plug-ins available on the Internet will be presented. Students will leave the workshop with a clear understanding of the Eclipse platform and its many uses. For further study, lab exercises will be available after the workshop.

About the Instructor: Doug Tidwell is a Senior Software Engineer with IBM's University Relations Group. His job is to work with professors and students worldwide, giving away IBM software and educational materials.
