How to submit final exam

Beware

Printed material (slides, books, etc.) is allowed
USB drives, CD-ROM, floppy disks, PDA, cell phones, etc., are NOT

Exam procedure

In the lab you will be provided with (1) a URL pointing to zip file, which contains an Eclipse project, and (2) a printed page containing the description of the Java application you have to build.

Proceed according to the following steps:

Install Eclipse and Java
Start Eclipse and insert both your student ID code and a valid email address (e.g., s123456@studenti.polito.it)
Import the project into Eclipse. A how-to is available at http://softeng.polito.it/slides/ImportProject/

Install Power Archive (compression utility program that extracts zip files)
Download the zip file
Extract the archive (NOT on the desktop)
From Eclipse: File; Import; Existing project into workspace

Develop the application without modifying names, types, and visibility of classes, packages and methods that were provided to you.
Save frequently (especially before submitting)
Export the project locally (right click on your project; Export as zip; P:\studID-last-first.zip)
Submit project to server (right click on your project, Sottometti progetto) and wait for bounce email.

Note well

Submitted project MUST be syntactically correct (i.e., must compile)
You are urged to test your project (i.e., run it frequently)
